Proud to be a WBENC Certified Women-Owned Business

The company is the first and only full-service, global fleet management provider to be certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ (November 6, 2019) – Holman®, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, today announced the company has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Holman is the first and only full-service, global fleet management provider to be certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by WBENC. The certification allows the company’s customers to classify their payments to Holman as Tier 1 Diversity Spend and further diversify their organization’s supply chain. Holman is a subsidiary of Holman Enterprises, which was also certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise earlier this year.

Founded by Steward C. Holman in 1924 as a single Ford dealership in New Jersey, Holman Enterprises has evolved through steady growth over nine decades and is now comprised of six distinct business units, including Holman, that support diverse sectors of the automotive industry. Following in the footsteps of her grandfather Steward and father Joseph, who currently serves as Holman Enterprises’ Chairman Emeritus, Mindy Holman joined the family-owned organization in 1986.

Today, Mindy Holman leads Holman Enterprises as Chairman of the Board. Additionally, her cousin, Kathy Andreola Mullin, serves as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer and Kathy’s sister, Susan Andreola Moonan, previously held a number of finance roles for the company and remains a key stakeholder of the organization.

WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Enterprise Center East is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
