Diversity, equity and inclusion doesn’t happen because of a single program or a single employee, no matter how senior. It’s a value we infuse into every choice we make, from how we recruit, to how we hire, from how we train, to how we promote, and how we operate each and every day.

We’re a certified woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC). We are the first and only full-service fleet management company to be certified by the WBENC as a woman-owned business.

How We Hire

How We Contract

We believe in having a supplier base that is as diverse as our employees and the communities we serve, and that a diverse supply chain is critical in fostering flexibility and innovative ideas.

That’s why we have a Supplier Diversity Program to help us attract qualified suppliers who can help support our business. This program fosters the development of diversely owned businesses and provides these suppliers with equal access to business opportunities within the organization.

This program is overseen by our Supplier Diversity Officer, which:

  • Establishes registration and qualification procedures for prospective diverse suppliers.
  • Links qualified suppliers with appropriate decision makers and supports decision making within the company.
  • Promotes an “open door” atmosphere within the company, to provide guidance to potential diverse suppliers and help them further develop their business.
  • Works with Supplier Diversity programs at other companies who share our vision of diverse supplier development.

How We Train

Offering our employees opportunities for development is an important value at Holman. Employees are encouraged to pursue new opportunities to grow, develop and engage in advanced learning. These opportunities help us to foster a diverse, inclusive and equitable workforce that’s prepared to take on new challenges and new roles.

Holman University is a unique and comprehensive global training and development program that gives our people the opportunity to grow and develop in our core business. Employees can pick from thousands of unique resources, including hundreds of instructor-led courses, and thousands of online courses.

Enabling a person to continue or advance their education in the classroom is also important to Holman. That’s why from day one, every employee is eligible to apply for our tuition reimbursement program whether they’re going back to school to finish a degree, or seeking a graduate degree.

How We Promote

Research shows that clear, measurable and transparent expectations for job performance and promotion create greater diversity, equity and inclusion in companies’ leadership. Holman employees work with their supervisors to set clear, measurable goals to guide their careers. Together, the team member and supervisor identify strengths, interests, and areas for improvement. There are a variety of resources to help employees reach their career goals, including hundreds of professional development courses and a variety of free books, DVDs and other resources.
