holman delivers at nafa conference 2022

Last month, Holman leadership returned to the NAFA Institute & Expo in Columbus, Ohio for the first time in over two years. The excitement of participating in this year’s conference notwithstanding, the Holman team was eager to be back on the show floor again to collaborate with colleagues and friends from across the industry.

Led by Chris Conroy, Bob White, and Pete Dondlinger, Holman’s leadership team discussed a number of subjects including fleet electrification, supply chain disruptions, and the branding of all our companies under the singular Holman name.

A Single Brand

Chris Conroy introduced today’s Holman, now a single brand. As our business divisions continue to expand and overlap in support of each other and our valued customers, we’re excited to align our companies under a singular brand – Holman.

Holman represents the global enterprise we’ve become and is designed to help our colleagues, customers, and communities better understand the integrated automotive services we provide.

Together, we’ll leverage our collective competencies that transcend traditional industries to deliver seamless solutions to drive your business forward. You’ll continue to receive the same level of service, strategic support, and thoughtful customer experience that have been long-standing hallmarks of the Holman family of businesses.

Together as one, Holman will continue Driving What’s Right.

Fleet Electrification

As you would expect, meeting the challenging demands of a world evolving toward electric vehicles (EV) and hybrids was a topic of conversation at the fleet conference 2022. How EVs continue to progress, and how fleets adjust their operations, are questions fleet managers are pondering while continuing to strategically plan for the future.

The unknowns today, such as charging options, right vehicle fit for the job, as well as driver fit, were among the themes discussed during the FMC Showcase session featuring Bob White, President, Holman Fleet and Mobility and Pete Dondlinger, President, Holman Manufacturing and Distribution. During their panel discussions, Bob and Pete touched on charging basics and understanding that options are evolving. For example, as a world with more and more EVs continues to unfold, charging options such as home charging, depots, and even public charging will become more readily available.

Holman’s strong strategic partnerships with electrification innovators such as Enel X and Electrada positions Holman to further strengthen our resources and competencies in this increasingly significant segment of the industry while helping fleet operators have productive conversations around sustainability goals.

Supply Chain Disruptions

Supply chain disruptions and the continuing concerns they create was another unsurprising source of conversation at the conference. During the panel discussions, Pete discussed that despite the challenges, Holman’s business divisions are continuing to work to deliver integrated supply chain solutions.

For example, Holman’s visibility of the automotive industry as a whole allows us to remain responsive and pivot to meet supply chain challenges and provide solutions to meet our customers’ business needs.

Driving What’s Right

Reconnecting with colleagues, friends and partners at NAFA was a tremendous experience and one that wasn’t taken lightly after the past few years. And of course, we are already looking to the 2023 conference in Baltimore!
